The new Hellcat® Rapid Defense Package (RDP™) configuration builds on the strengths of the ever-popular pistol, the highest capacity micro 9mm in the world. Featuring a direct-mount Shield SMSc red dot optic along with a Self Indexing Compensator, the Hellcat RDP combines fast target acquisition with rapid, accurate follow-up shots.

 

The pistol features an ambidextrous manual safety as well as the new Gen 2 trigger featuring enhanced ergonomics.​

Included Shield SMSC Red Dot

Featuring a 4 M.O.A. dot and a light yet sturdy polymer body, the Shield SMSc is ideal for compact carry.

Self Indexing Compensator

A patented Self-Indexing design that makes installation or removal easy.

Ambidextrous Thumb Safety 

A low-profile, unobtrusive design that features positive engagement and is simple and easy to operate both left or right-handed.

Handgun Case Included

A double-zipper case is included with each Springfield Armory handgun. The soft-sided shell ensures the firearm and mounted accessories are protected during transportation, while an interior pouch can hold an additional magazine.
